Assertive Hot-Rod style and stepped headers
The hallmark of the Shortshots Staggered lies in their famous slash-cut tips, bringing a touch of aggressive sportiness to your Custom's profile. Mechanically, this line uses stepped headers that transition from a 1-3/4" (4.45 cm) diameter to a 2-1/2" (6.35 cm) muffler body. This architecture optimizes the exhaust gas exit speed, thereby improving throttle response while producing a particularly heavy and cavernous Hot-Rod roar.
Full anti-bluing heat shielding
To ensure your exhausts maintain their flawless shine over time, Vance & Hines integrates full heat shields offering 220° coverage. Precisely fitted along the entire length of the pipes, these heat shields insulate the inner steel from strong temperature variations. This virtually eliminates the phenomenon of bluing or superficial yellowing to preserve an impeccable chrome finish.

O2 sensor management (18 mm thread): The headers are equipped with native 18 mm threads for oxygen sensor integration.

For carburetors and injections prior to 2007: As these models do not use lambda sensors, the installation of suitable blanking plugs is necessary to properly seal the orifices.

Frame mounting exclusions: This version is specifically curved for the general line of classic Softail frames. It is not suitable for Rocker type models (FXCW/FXCWC) as well as original CVO and Screamin' Eagle (SE) variants.

Montés sur ma Harley pour le look… finalement je les garde surtout parce que mes bottes refusent maintenant de quitter les repose-pieds 😅
Super grip, finition vraiment propre, usinage de qualité et surtout une sensation de solidité dès le montage. L’inclinaison réglable est un vrai plus pour trouver la position parfaite, ça change vraiment le confort sur les longues balades 👌
Et les sliders évitent de pleurer à chaque fois que ça frotte un peu en virage 😂
Le plus dangereux au final, c’est l’envie d’attaquer un peu plus fort juste pour entendre le slider dire bonjour au bitume 😅
