PCX™ Technology: Torque Optimization and Thermal Comfort

This new generation integrates the patented PCX™ (Power Chamber Exhaust) technology. It conceals a high-flow, chambered catalytic converter ideally positioned downstream of the flow.

• Engine Performance: Significantly increases mid-range torque for sharper and more reactive acceleration off-the-line, while delivering a deep, cavernous, and typically Hot-Rod growl.

• Heat Reduction: The catalytic converter's placement reduces heat emissions by up to 20% at the footpegs/floorboards and up to 50% at the header, radically transforming rider comfort compared to the original system.

Full Anti-Bluing Heat Shields

To maintain a new appearance over the years, the system integrates 2-1/2" (6.35 cm) diameter full heat shields. Precision plasma-cut and offering 100% coverage, they perfectly insulate the steel of the inner tubes and virtually eliminate any risk of visible yellowing or bluing.

🔧 Technical Specifications and Important Installation Notes

• Strict Frame Compatibility: This line is specifically bent for wide-tire Softails. It is not suitable for standard-frame Softail models from 2018 to 2022 (Street Bob, Fat Bob, Softail Slim, Low Rider / S / ST, Softail Standard, Deluxe).

• Cam Cover Clearance: Be careful when using Custom or aftermarket cam covers. This line leaves .116" clearance from the cover, while the manufacturer recommends a minimum safe clearance of .250".

• Accessory Incompatibility: This system is not compatible with Quiet Baffle type removable baffles (18611204).

• Euro 5 Technical Advice (2021 models and later): For European versions equipped with downstream secondary oxygen sensors, the use of a management unit is highly recommended to electronically deactivate these secondary sensors without generating an engine fault code.
