The 3 main types of mounts There are three main types of mounts for Harley-Davidson footpegs: Softail M8 rider Softail M8 passenger "Male" mount (Sportster, Dyna, FXR…) The Softail M8 rider mount This mount only concerns Softail models equipped with the Milwaukee-Eight (M8) engine, meaning from 2018 onwards.
